Ken Ceder, Research Director, was formerly a co-director of Hippocrates Health Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Ken formed OTT Light Systems (OLS) soon after meeting and collaborating with pioneering photobiologist Dr. John Ott; the father of 'health enhancing' full spectrum light.
OLS sold all rights to the Ott Light brand & trade mark after Dr. Ott's death and formed the bioLight Group (bLG) to advance Dr. Ott's full-spectrum light vision. bioEnlightenment.info was formed to act as a catalyst for raising awareness of — Mal-illumination and to provide a convenient, simple solution for this silent epidemic.
Building on Dr. Ott's insightful work, the scientific mechanisms underlying various light therapy treatments are finally being explained. Years of systematic research carried out in centers of excellence all over the world now provides not only a better understanding of the cellular mechanisms which respond to light therapy, but also various biological effects that can be achieved as a result of light stimulation.
The future of light therapy is progressing and developing well into the millennium as more and more research takes us even beyond the cellular level, and molecular biologists explain features of an unimaginable world of 'energy medicine' and quantum physics as the science of light unfolds.
